Editorial Policy

ShokokoTech helps readers find, compare and use AI tools and web tools. This page explains how we choose topics, how we research and write our articles, and how we handle corrections.

What we cover

We publish practical guides, comparisons and explainers about AI assistants, web tools, privacy and everyday technology, plus a small number of news analyses when a launch changes what readers can do. We also build free browser-based tools, such as our QR code generator, image toolkit and internet speed test.

How we research

  • We rely first on primary sources: official documentation, help centers, pricing pages and company announcements.
  • For news, we name the outlet that reported the story and link to it, and we look for confirmation from more than one source.
  • Every article ends with a list of the sources we used, so you can check the facts yourself.
  • Prices and features change often. We note when we checked them and update articles when we learn about changes.

Hands-on testing

We only say that we tested a product when we actually used it. Articles based on documentation and reporting are written as explainers and say so. We never publish invented test results, quotes or reviews.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked against its sources and edited by a person before it is published, and we remain responsible for everything on this site.

Independence

We do not accept payment for coverage or for positive reviews. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly on the page where they appear.

Corrections and contact

If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page or at contact@shokokotech.com. We review every report and correct mistakes promptly, adding a note when a correction changes the meaning of an article.
